Hero of the Month – August 2012
Hero Tim Hart of R3 Accounting has been a supporter of Rebuilding Together Broward County for over a year. His efforts have advanced the organization’s fiscal operations. Tim has given his time to educate the staff and board on fiscal matters and helped to prepare the organization for their first audit. His skills and expertise have taken the organization to a new level of success and accountability.
Mr. Hart has over thirty years of vast accounting and finance experience to include 10 years with KPMG, one the worlds largest international public accounting firms. Most recently, Mr. Hart expanded his private practice to form R3 Accounting LLC. Mr. Hart holds a bachelors degree in Accountancy, Economics and Business Administration from Thomas More College, and has been a certified public accountant since 1984. He is a director with “Kids Playing for Kids”, an Arizona not profit organization working with chronically ill children. He is a member of the Oakland Park / Wilton Manors Rotary (Treasurer). He is also the past Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce for Oakland Park/Wilton Manors and currently a director of the Oakland Park / Wilton Manors council of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Hart is a member of a number of other professional organizations including the AICPA, FICPA and the GCVCA.
